Due to the rapidly increasing work load we have had to adjust our hours that we are open to the general public.  Starting the week of 4/21 our hours open are as follows:

Wednesday through Friday 12:00PM to 6:00PM
Saturday 10:00am to 3:00pm

We hope hte new hours will better serve weekday customers, keep our availability for saturday, and allow us more time to hatch, sex, vaccinate, and ship our chicks :) 

Due to a comcast outage our site and phones were down for approximately an hour, nothing to be concerned about they thankfully got it back up!  Sorry for any inconvenience!

Well March has been a CRAZY month!  We thank all of our customers, new and old for bringing us our busiest March to date!  As we look to better serve you we have expanded our hatching capacity from 500 to 1100 chicks.  Through April we will be working on rolling our hatching schedule to Mondays, starting in May we will hatch every Monday for Monday and Tuesday shipping.  Pick ups can be done Tuesday through Saturday.

As we look to expand our selection of poultry we are looking throughout Connecticut to see whats available locally rather than importing from out of state. Like many of you we want to support our local farmers and entrepreneurs. We are looking to purchase fertilized hatching eggs in volume on a regular basis. Basic minimum criteria is as follows:

Now that we have entered the NPIP program we will begin shipping chicks from our East Haddam hatchery this year.  We will also begin selling and shipping hatching eggs.  Not all poultry breeds are available for shipping, some breeds will be marked for pickup only and these are for sale online or locally but must be picked up at the farm.
